Your Appointment

  • When you contact us you will have the choice of booking a;
    • Face to face or Telephone appointment
    • Same day appointment (if available) or pre-bookable appointment (up to 2 weeks in advance) 

  • Please also let us know if you need an interpreter or have any other communication needs

Appointments available:

  • Same-day appointments for urgent medical needs
  • Evening and weekend appointments for routine care

Appointments can be face-to-face or by telephone.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home Visits

If you're housebound and need a home visit, please call before 10:00 AM.

Home visits take the time of 3–4 regular appointments. Please attend the surgery if you can.

Accessing your Test results

You can access your test results in the following ways:

  • Online via SystmOnline
  • Phone

Note

When to Check Your Results

Results can take up to five working days, depending on the type of test. Some may take longer.

  • Before contacting us, please check with the clinic or department that performed your test to confirm the expected turnaround time.
  • Once enough time has passed, you can call the surgery for your results after 11am

Understanding Your Results

Our reception team can tell you the clinician’s comment attached to your test result. However, they are not medically trained to interpret results or offer clinical advice. If you need help understanding your result, or if it requires discussion, please book an appointment with one of our clinicians.

Note

It is the patient’s responsibility to check test results and book any necessary follow-up appointments. We aim to contact you if action is needed, but if you're unsure or haven’t heard back, please get in touch.

Confidentiality and Data Protection
We follow strict NHS confidentiality and GDPR guidelines. Results will only be given to the patient they relate to, unless:

  • Prior written permission has been given
  • The patient is unable to understand the result and has a designated representative
